The incredibly bright blue light on the cord is always on when the light is off.
The lamp is aesthetically pleasing but totally useless when used in the bedroom. When the light is off, the remote attached to the cord emits an incredibly bright blue light. Consider how bright your phone's flashlight is. I tried to save him by wrapping the remote control in electrical wire but unfortunately the light was so strong it still got through. Too expensive to justify such a nuisance, had to return.
