First off, let me say that I have very little programming or coding experience on any computer, let alone a small electronic board like the Adafruit DC & Stepper Motor HAT. I bought this and a Raspberry Pi not knowing how any of these work to build my own powered longboard and it's been a great experience so far. Adafruit has a website where you can download the open-source code to make learning Python commands easier, which has become a great tool for learning programming. If you like crafting and want to learn such things for your own project, this is for you. If you don't want to waste time messing around to get something working, stay away from this product. Can't recommend it more, will buy another one soon. 5 Stars
