This works very well for my application which is in a 2015 Dodge Durango SD slot (UConnect 8.4N RA4). Many car SD card slots are limited to FAT32 formatted cards, and the maximum size for a FAT32 formatted card is (as the name suggests) 32GB. So for a lot of cars this is about the best you can get without a bit of luck and/or hacking. You might find that the card takes a while to fill up completely with 30GB of data, but that's to be expected from SD currently.
