This benchtop reverse osmosis system is ideal for homes or situations where a reverse osmosis system with storage tank cannot be installed. For those who want to understand where the sewage is going, it flows out of a special tube that is part of the adapter that replaces the aerator on your faucet. A lot of waste water ("Solen"). Typically, systems are designed to produce 1 part clean/filtered water, 2 or 3 parts wastewater. That's how they work. Collect the brine in a few gallon jugs and use it on your plants or whatever if you don't want to waste as much water. RO can only filter as fast as the water pressure will allow, so deducting stars for a slow system is unfair. I filtered out about 2.5 gallons in just under an hour so I clearly have good water pressure. But that's just beyond APEC's control. This gives you pure water with no residual taste or odor. I'm in Texas and this system is a godsend. When I finally have a house I'm going to get an under counter system with a storage tank.
