I use them to list gear in various bags where I carry tools and parts for my road trailer and vehicles. After all these years I've finally found a way to keep track of what's in my travel bag. The plastic tags are well made and the connection cables are made of metal. Very durable. I use sheets that I cut from plastic bottles, selected from plastic that absorbs ink and is therefore mostly waterproof. Not all plastics are ink permeable, with most the ink simply rubs off. But first I check and if it accepts ink I cut out a small panel to find it in these holders. I hate throwing away plastic and at least it allows you to reuse what would normally just be thrown away.
