This is a simple cable tester, nothing more. While you see two lines to test the connection, the second line only lights up to test the cable when both ends are connected to the device. The remote control sensor works but does not transmit information to the main unit. Basically, you have to be in two places at the same time for verification. If you need exercise, this is your car. Otherwise it has little functional use. To use it you need to place the main unit on the end you want to test, set it to AUTO and bring the remote unit to the other end of the cables and plug it in. In automatic mode, it scrolls from 1 to 8, and as long as it goes in order, everything is fine. Neither unit has working GREEN lights for remote testing. The green indicators only work for the cable connected to both plugs of the main unit. The instructions indicate that there is an improved version of this box that allows you to work with a remote device. But I can't find it anywhere (including the manufacturer's website).
