The product works great as long as it is connected directly to the fire stick. I only gave it two stars because I read the description. I don't see any reason for it not to work with the firestick's network adapter, but when I tried to use it with the ethernet network adapter, my firestick wouldn't even turn on fully, and when I tried to plug it in after the ethernet adapter , my firestick turned on, but the ethernet adapter wasn't working and my firestick was connected to the internet via wifi. The rest of the product works great, the data transfer to the USB stick was great, no buffering or anything like that.
