Let me start by talking about cat food, I think wellness gets a lot of things right. I applaud grain-free product lines and perfectly acceptable ingredient lists. We've been buying wellness products at least occasionally for about a decade and overall are very happy with them. However, this particular product is a resounding failure. We currently have six cats, two of them are kittens who will act like they will starve every time something like food approaches and will always try to steal some of the adult cats food but none of our six don't want that eat this food. . We normally feed 3 different foods in rotation and this has been changing for a few months. We found that none of them would eat anything unless it was served by themselves. Other foods will disappear, but this one remains a perfectly formed semicircle in an abandoned bowl. We decided to feed him separately first thing in the morning. A few cats nibbled to keep from starving, but none of them liked it. That was before it got any worse. The texture and color deteriorated after a few deliveries and having seen the grey/green/blue tint around the edges of the unusually hard/firm food in the jar and smelled the bad smell I can't blame the cats for refusing it and having thrown two in the trash he threw it away before deciding he had to look for another option. I am concerned about the quality control of Wellness and hope they do their best to transform their overall philosophy of good nutrition into safe and tasty options for pets and their people.
