I bought it to clean my washing machine and dishwasher. My washing machine smelled very strongly of sewage gas every time it emptied the water, which was due to the buildup of liquid detergent and liquid fabric softener through all the years of use. Filled my washing machine with hot water on the highest setting, poured in TWO full cups of Lemi Shine 100% Citric Acid and ran it through a full cycle. NO MORE SMELL! Same with my dishwasher. A full cycle of hot water but with ONE cup of Lemi Shine 100% Citric Acid and there are no more stains and glasses are sparkling clean!
