I use a Lencent reading lamp (and its twin) to read on my porch in the evenings. No problems after unpacking or when last used. It's small but illuminates the side. Settings are adjustable with warm light and fluorescent light. You can run all six lights at max, but I honestly don't see much of a difference between a maximum of three fluorescents (or LED or whatever) and a full six lights. You'll likely get three reading sessions of a few hours each before charging the USB cable. It takes about an hour or more to charge. It's worth noting that the Lencent is almost identical to the Topelek flashlight ($1 more expensive) that I bought earlier, with very few cosmetic changes.
