Review on AODELAN Flash Trigger NikonD850 A6500 by Ashley Nelson
Works fine, just not with Phottix.
I have several Phottix Ares flash triggers that I use in the outdoor lighting classes I teach. The AODELAN kit looks identical to Phottix and I took a chance they were compatible (and cheaper). Although these two sets look exactly the same on the outside, they are definitely NOT compatible with each other. I can still use them as a separate set but not with my Phottix hardware.
Pros
- Compatible with all accessory shoe flashes (except Sony flashes) and flash/studio lights with a 3.5mm connection.
Cons
- New competitors have arrived
