This mic delivers far better sound quality than I expected from a $15 mic. Combine that with the fact that almost any motherboard should be able to control it and I'd say it's a safe buy for anyone wanting a decent mic for gaming/VoIP or any other type of voice recording , apart from something like professional podcasting. The stand is good but takes up too much space on my cramped desk. I ended up buying a mic stand that could stand behind my monitor to do that. However, if you have a large table, the included stand will work.
