I like the look and functionality of this wallet but I do question whether it is real leather. Nothing on the wallet says it's leather, and it doesn't smell like leather either. I've seen descriptions on some online items that describe the item as PU leather, which is not leather at all but polyurethane material made to look like leather. I suspect this may be the case here. Time will tell, as leather has a very distinct wear pattern. Given all the above, I find the wallet attractive and well organized for my needs, and it didn't break the bank!
