Review on Inflatable boat Intex Mariner 3 (68373) gray by Wiktor Barczuk ᠌

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

Let me explain that the keel in this boat is not quite a keel in the usual sense, it is an inflated longitudinal protrusion on the bottom with enhanced protection: not to improve driving performance, but rather to protect the bottom when pulling the boat ashore. Two inflatable cans can be used as a chair: put the second one as a backrest if the fishing is delayed. One is comfortable in the boat, two are cramped: you can’t stretch your legs. You can actually stand on the water in a boat. They write that the boat can be pumped over by mistake. Indeed, this is a problem: in the morning in the cool I pumped it up according to the instructions, and after a couple of hours in the sun it became like a drum. The pressure must be monitored with the help of special marks on the sides.

Pros
  • - High-quality and reliable material of the boat. Additional layers of PVC on the bottom, a protective layer of plastic on the inflatable keel and in a circle along the side. - Solid bottom (payolas). - Convenient fastening of oars with latches, oarlocks only need to be lubricated. The reliability of the oarlocks is not yet clear, time will tell. - Many eyelets around the boat, incl. transom mount. The rope around the perimeter of the boat is convenient - you can grab the boat by any place or tie something. There are not enough ducks for anchor ropes. - Powerful hand pump included. For pumping, you need no more than 10 minutes. I don't think it's worth buying an electric one.
Cons
  • As usual, disadvantages are a continuation of advantages. The boat is heavy, more than 30 kg (and this is without a motor with a battery and a transom), one cannot carry it far in a regular bag. It is necessary to purchase two sets of shoulder straps: for carrying a separate boat, a separate payol. And the volume is not weak: you need to immediately think about where to store it. Mounts for fishing rods (because of which I actually bought this boat) are generally nonsense. Trolling will not work, and fishing with a float requires a different angle of installation of fishing rods. We need to think about how to adapt them for something else. The air valves are flimsy: in one, when the lid was screwed on, the upper part of the lid immediately fell off and began to poison, I had to screw the lid onto a plastic bag (it helped :)
