Review on TEAC CD-P1260: LCD Display & MP3 Playback CD Player by Jeffrey Shatzel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent single disk player.

I purchased a Teac CD-P1260 to replace a simular Pyle single disk CD player (PT688CU) that was nothing but trouble. After living with it for a month, I have to say that I really like it and it is much superior to the Pyle unit. The Teac CD-P1260 loads/recognizes a disk really fast.It sounds excellent both compared to the pyle unit and to other CD players I have used. It seems to have very low harmonic distortion for one thing and it sounds very musical. As far as playing MP3 disks, it is a pleasure playing them on the CD-P1260 and no special file names or disks need to be created. Whatever disk will play in my car/computer will also play on the CD-P1260.The remote is also great to use and more functional than most even though it does no have an on/off or an open/close button.I need to be at my player anyway to insert/remove a disk so, I do not miss those buttons at all.I was glad to see/hear that Teac has still retained it's qualty over the years as some other former quality brands have since gone for profit over quality and flash over substance. If you are looking for a single disk CD player I can recomend the Teac CD-P1260.

Pros

Cons
