Review on Electric press grill Tefal GC241D38 by Jenny Sellington

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like it! Its model is not bad

Long doubted the need to buy an electric grill, but still decided. Grilled foods are much healthier than those cooked in a skillet. No excess fat, tk. on the grill you can (and even need to) fry without oil.

Even grilled vegetables are delicious.

On the grill, you can fry almost everything - from bread to meat. Which is what we generally do. Everything that is fried on the grill comes out with a delicious crust.

Another plus - no need to turn over, as when cooking in a pan. Products are fried on both sides at once.

My kids love homemade grilled burgers. You can stuff vegetables and homemade cutlets into such hamburgers - they go with a bang.

We also tried cooking potatoes and vegetables. Potatoes are cooked for a very long time, in time almost the same as meat. It is better to boil the potatoes a little before putting them on the grill.

Before grilling, I had no options to cook zucchini other than frying in oil. But they turned out to be greasy and after cooling they became not tasty.

Grilled zucchini, and indeed any vegetables, are not greasy, tasty. Eat right and feel the benefits.

Meat, grilled sausages also do not contain excess fat. True, meat on the grill is not the same as meat in the oven. It does not differ in softness and juiciness. Even if it is pre-marinated, it turns out to be an amateur. But minced sausages in a natural casing are obtained as they should.

Excess fat, if any, drains into a special pan under the grill. It can be easily removed and washed (the tray can be washed in the dishwasher).

High sides do not allow excess moisture and fat to drain.

Flame panels, unfortunately, are not removable. But they are easy to clean with a wet sponge, because. have a non-stick coating. All moisture from the panels flows into the pan, which can also be washed later.

The cord from below is wound on special protrusions.

A latch is provided for the handle.

This lock should only be used to store the grill. If there is food in the grill, it will not close with the latch.

The Tefal grill has only one button - on, it is also off.

There are indicators on the lid. When the grill is hot (it will take about a minute), the red indicator lights up.

The top cover of the grill is fixed on the handle only in the middle, due to which it is movable and presses the food well.

There is no need to press down on the lid to better brown the food on top.

Due to the stainless steel body, the grill does not lose its appearance, even after repeated use.

The grill can be stored vertically.

In general, despite long doubts, the grill turned out to be a useful appliance in the kitchen. Saves a lot of time when cooking, because. food is fried on both sides at once. In addition, foods fried without oil are healthier than those fried in a pan with oil.
