- First of all I'm not an expert at making candles - But I'm good at saving money so I bought these to recycle my expensive candles.* Very good wicks * true to size * feels the same as new candles (wax, soft and easy to cut) * easy installation: although I only install them in leftover wax in jars * they give better control over the candles. Even burning of the wax, maximum utilization of ALL the wax in the jar: Of course, 4-5 wicks (depending on the size of the jar) must be installed to prevent the formation of "walls" of unburned wax. in burnt wax, but it IS!* I'm burning a candle out of old wax now and the smell is just as strong. I saved $14-$18 on a new candle* I'll keep refining the melted wax and see how long the scent lasts, saving me even more money!
