TL; DR - Good value for money, a desperate buy if you REALLY need a fan to keep you up at night or something. But if you have $80 buy a better fan that will last. Not that. The first thing I want to talk about is that some customers are complaining about short battery life. I think it's relative, mine takes about 4 hours give or take. I just leave it plugged in most of the time, and unless I want to balance it on the back so it's tipping up, there's little to no reason for me to unplug the charging cable. If you're looking for a portable bladeless fan to take on a hike(?) then look elsewhere. That's not it. Made of relatively light plastic. The weight in the description is not a lie. There's this middle piece of plastic that flexes when I press it with my thumb. I am assuming that the related product carries the LED light there. does it matter? no Because it's lightweight, I wouldn't call it durable. Don't get me wrong, the plastic here isn't cheap $2 water gun plastic. But I wouldn't trust this thing to actually work even if it falls off my desk. The power of this thing is unimpressive, to say the least. It's not the WEAKEST thing I've ever experienced. The strongest wind begins to die down at about the length of the index finger. About through the palm of your hand you hardly feel the breeze, and after 1.5 hands you won't feel anything. If you like your face cold while sleeping, don't use this thing. And if it does, leave it on the bed, not on the table. Lay it on its side and don't move too much or it'll fall off the bed and we've already talked about materials for this thing that don't feel strong. Oddly enough, the clearances I mentioned earlier are REALLY the same for the bottom fan. speeds (only 3 speeds if you didn't know). However, the noise increases. That brings me to the next topic. noise level. I'm a person who sleeps with white noise. I don't like absolute silence, it scares me when I hear my blood flow. Fortunately, the thing is as loud as my lawnmower. That's exaggeration. It's about as loud as rubbing your hands (if you have dry skin). An alternate example is rubbing a paper towel on yourself. I hope that makes sense. It's hard to convey the actual sound level of this thing without measuring it in decibels (which I can't). It's not loud. But the noise increase from low to high speeds is negligible. I mean you can fall asleep on this thing if you like white noise. If you like silence, look elsewhere. But it's a $30 bladeless fan. You get what you pay for. I think my final point is aesthetics and design. I won't lie, I bought this thing because I wanted a white fan with no blades and I couldn't afford an $80 fan with a Hepa filter at the time. After I can afford it, I'll probably drop this thing. The "ring" of the fan is not adjustable. It doesn't swivel, and because of the curved corners, it's a bit difficult to balance this thing on objects in space to get the angle you want. I found myself nailing the rope to the ceiling and adjusting how I tie the rope to the fan to adjust the angle. It's also my solution to palm strength and all the other issues I've had with this thing. Destructive? Yes. Its worth it? no But if you're a poor college student living near the equator and your room has a specific aesthetic that you want to implement on a tight budget, then this is a pretty good choice. If you have more money to burn, do it. This is really a desperation step. A GOOD buy if you're desperate, but if you're not desperate don't skimp on your money when you shouldn't. Invest in a reliable $80 bladeless fan and you won't regret it.
