I bought this as a Christmas present for my nephew who is 3 years old. He enjoyed playing with it as a remote control toy and as a toy without control. Not only was it fun for him but the adults also had fun with it too. Highly recommend for young kids. The controls are very basic but easy to learn. It may take young children to get a hang of it.It seems durable enough.It requires 5 batteries for each car and remote set. So when you purchase this item also purchase at least 10 batteries.The access to the battery also requires a screwdriver so you should have that handy.
