Review on Bridgestone Blizzak Spike-02 SUV 215/65 R16 98T winter by Petar Lyubenov ᠌

Not my best purchase, you could have found something else.

Dunlops tested over the course of six winters were not available in the necessary sizes (perhaps owing to geopolitics). We have reason to be pessimistic, given the breeches' lack of height and tread density, but we shall see.

Pros
  • Made in Japan, so maybe the tires will last more than a year without splitting like haka. Wear resistance is another area in which Bridgestone excels. (When compared to mud bighorns) surprisingly quiet.
Cons
  • Blizzaks are only road slicks when compared to the previous Dunlop winter ices. Zero elevation and zero tread sparsity. From what I can see, though, that is now the standard for "suv" tires.
