Some things are just better without electronics and my bathroom scale is one of them. Think about it: To weigh yourself with a traditional digital scale: 1. Stand on the scale (to turn it on).2. Step off the scale (and wait for calibration to complete).3. Step on the scale and wait a few more seconds for it to display your weight. Some of them are finicky and fail when you shift your weight, forcing you to start over. However, to weigh yourself using a mechanical scale like this: 1. Stand on the scale.2. Read the result.3. get on with your day I chose this scale over the digital one for the reasons above. I chose them over other mechanical scales because of the large window, large numbers, and brand name.
