I decided on a mesh playpen after my child got his foot stuck in the panel playpen a few times. I am happy with the quality. The playpen is stable with T-joints and suction cups. It's a decent size for our baby to crawl and parents to sit. The mesh offers an open view: I can lay my baby down and it doesn't feel restricted and we worry less about it getting into restricted areas. .I also love the included playmat. As soon as I opened it I checked for smell and there was no smell at all which is surprising given that almost all other playmats I've bought have smells no matter the price range. The mat is foldable, supportive, and thick enough (more padding than Costco). All in all it was pretty easy to walk around. Just watch the length and width. Since the playpen looks more like a square than a long rectangle, I initially mixed up the length and width bars. A good rule of thumb is that the side with the logo is the "length".
