This is a product that needs an overhaul. I ordered one knowing Zagg is a quality name. However, within a week one of the hinges on the stand supporting the iPad broke. I sent the case back and ordered a replacement. As soon as the replacement arrived, I tested it by opening up the caliper. The same loop broke on the first pull. I didn't force or overstretch the support. In both cases it was normal use. I sent the second case back for a refund. Aside from the hinge, the case was very good with great features. The keyboard feels nice and the bottom of the keyboard has a nice non-slip surface. You can add a clasp or magnetic clasp to keep it closed when the iPad is not in use.
