The design is quite compact, making it easy to carry around and fit in ordinary bags. for two - a good deal! That's about twice as much as regular 18650 batteries. The problem is that the products have probably been on the shelf for decades. Batteries naturally discharge about 10% every year, no matter what? For reference and comparison I've bought an 18650 battery and flashlight for over 10 years but it still works like a charm. Then I'm really, really curious about the manufacturing dates of these dead batteries I just received from Revain. The package appears to be old, opened or returned with obvious but slight signs of wear; but it's still pretty decent. One of the two doesn't load at all. The red LED continues to work. But it stayed red forever without even charging. The other can charge and then works well. However, he died very quickly. This is not normal compared to what I have bought from others. My observation: It was a pretty good design with a compact package. However, the battery used was either too old or defective. So it will bring good luck if you get a newer factory; but you can take a risk if you don't have luck with the old battery.
