Great feel and not cheap at all.

I've started replacing all black or chrome on my F150 with carbon. Well, it looks and feels real and real. I don't think plastic is that cheap. Also, the backing for your record will help eliminate any vibration, if any, like a good sound system without adding bulk. Plus a clean look. I'll take some photos later.
