Review on πŸ“± Poetic Revolution Series iPhone 11 Pro Rugged Case - Metallic Red, Full-Body Dual-Layer Shockproof Protective Cover with Kickstand and Built-in-Screen Protector for Apple iPhone 11 Pro (2019) 5.8 Inch by Michael Willis

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The stand is the weak point of an otherwise excellent cell phone case

So I've bought this case several times. Once from the store and twice from Revain. This indicates its strength and weakness. This is a great case. It just breaks. To add more benefits, it doesn't matter what breaks on the case to protect the phone. I haven't had any damage to my phone while using this case, although I'm more than a little clumsy and the meds I take don't make me any more stable. I've also never had a torso fracture from a torso fall. So that speaks for him too. Unfortunately, the stand is held together with tiny plastic pins that are about as strong as the locking lug used to hold it in place. All three cases I had had broke due to the stand pins failing so the kickstand just falls off. After that, it can be used as a protective cover, but it is not suitable for standing. If it didn't break so reliably I would give it a much higher rating. Other than that, it's superbly designed, protects the phone very well, feels good in your hand and if you like the rugged look then it looks great. The only thing I can cite as another necessary issue with the case is that its thick protection makes wireless chargers very picky. To the point that it's not worth it. I just put my wireless charger in a closet and used a plug instead. But now that the third stand is broken I think that's it. At this point it is clearly a structural issue with the case and not an accident in the manufacture of my unique case. And as much as I love it, I really don't want to shell out for a new business all the time. Buying the fourth one I've bought fits most of the cases I've bought for the phone. And as much as I love this case, I don't think I like it that much. If you rarely use a stand and need one just in case, I would recommend this case. However, if you use the stand intermittently, expect to have to replace this case intermittently. It just can't stand it.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Without automatic control
