Boxed well and received on time. However, item needed a full wipe down, inside and out, before I could consider putting it to use. There was a layer of particulate covering every surface which wiped off black. There was also a very strong odor which was off-putting for the first few days, had to let it air out. Odor is still slightly there but definitely not as strong when opening drawer.I wanted the drawer to be on top rather than the bottom and swapped it. For the most part it fits, however it does bind/contact during 30%-60% open and then frees up again. Minor nuisance, wished it was smoother but not enough to make me want to return it. Also, the unit cannot be flipped upside down as there are feet on the bottom and a pleather surface on top where monitor sits. Inside of drawer is a little rough, not nearly as smooth as the rest of the product.Despite these minor issues, the quality is overall good and gets the job done raising my monitor perfectly while adding storage in a classy fashion. Be sure to measure the height you want your monitor raised while compensating with the stand (area from base of stand to bottom of screen).Would be nice if there was compartments inside the drawer.Sit in your chair comfortably with proper posture with appropriate chair height for 90 degree bend in knee.Direct your eyes to a default center point while your head is level, mark on wall, ruler or standing box with pinFind center point of monitor screen (half of measured height of screen, not including frame)Measure distance from default eye center point to center point of monitor(Alternatively, measure center of monitor screen INCLUDING the stand and subtract from default eye-center point.)Compare this number to height of stand you are considering. I would consider allowing for a drop by 1 inch but nothing more or less. Keep in mind, what applications you use, where you click most often (look up mouse click heat map if you really want to be technical) and note this information. If you look in top left and right often, you may not want to raise it TOO much, conversely for looking in bottom corners.
