I read all the reviews, mostly positive ones, and then watched a dozen videos on You Tube on how to polish scratches on glass. I brought my friend who is used to car detailing and we polished off some of the scratches, wax deposits and raindrops on my car's windows and windshield. This tool works great with the right polishing paste (cerium oxide) and patience. Don't attach this to a Dremel tool, it's too fast and lacks torque. Use an orbital buffer or variable speed drill and work with the # hashtag template. It takes hours, not minutes, to properly polish scratches on glass. Old wax and Rain-X came off after 6 passes, light scratches took another 2 hours to perfect. Watch out for too much heat and spray the glass frequently with water to keep it cool and prevent the polish from getting wet.
