I am an apple supporter. I am a proud owner of an iPhone, and despite making the jump from Windows to Mac OS almost a decade ago, I have never once looked back. I attempted to use a Xiaomi set-top box in conjunction with an Android phone as a TV set, but it was unable to do so without the use of a mat. I made the decision to purchase an Apple TV since, after applying discounts and taking advantage of additional offers, it worked out to be significantly less expensive than the list price. At first glance, everything appears to be perfectly normal, lovely, substantial, and quickly tuned in. But at that point, it was immediately obvious that there was only one exit available. There were none other. I have two vintage 40-watt speakers, and both of them, along with a minijack, are in working order. I also have more than enough of them. It is not possible to plug it in anywhere, and the television does not have a headphone output. Sailed. Absolutely, at this very moment they will write to me saying that you are a rogue and that you ought to purchase a receiver and regular speakers. But I just have a studio apartment, so 1) there is nowhere for me to put all of this stuff, and 2) even if there were place, how would I produce a good sound in such a confined space? In summary, every single Chinese adapter and HDMI signal splitter that I tested was a total and utter failure. Nevertheless, the sound adjusting controls are only located on the speakers themselves. Because only Xiaomi televisions are compatible because they come equipped with a minijack, I was forced to purchase a new one. This port has been eliminated from all standard Samsungs and Skis. And even though it is working now, the only way to regulate the sound is through the remote for the television. Please enjoy these pies adorned with cute little kittens. I can see why they took out this port on the phone; they probably wanted to make it thinner, protect it from damp, or any combination of the three. But in the end, nobody washes with a prefix, and it's not even remotely thin, so why should we force people to use only the terminology that Apple deems appropriate? And then there was the second moment, which was when I upgraded to 4k (the first TV set was 1080). 4k doesn't work on youtube. what? Yes, write about the battle between different codecs; no, it doesn't bother me in the least. The most popular service, despite the fact that it does not function properly all of the time. This is unusual in general because you don't buy a unit for 5 kopecks, but the capability is reduced in comparison to the xiaomi box. In general, I enjoy the device itself, and I have high hopes that YouTube will add support for 4k video at some point in the future; however, now that I am aware of all of these intricacies, I am not sure if I would purchase it again.
