Gets warm/hot. Interferes with Logitech mouse receiver

Gets warmer than you would expect from this type of device. Also, this is a strange problem. it interferes with the Logitech mouse/keyboard receiver. Moving the Logitech receiver off the cable to the other side of my laptop makes a difference. The USB 3.0 to Ethernet adapter seems to fix the problem.
