Extremely high quality panel antenna. Cables, chassis, mounting hardware and internal components are all of high quality. Internal soldering is exceptional. The antenna design uses a quadruple square dipole element with multiple reflectors and a cone, with additional PCB etched antenna elements on the back of the bottom reflector fed by elements below the top reflector. Yes, you get more gain with a log periodic antenna if you have something like line of sight, but I haven't seen anything better with panel antennas. Since this is a directional antenna, care should be taken when placing it. I got just over 5dB of gain (compared to the standard antenna) on the n41 band and similar gain on the B2 and B66 and was able to get good signals from more distant towers that the standard antenna could never pick up. Within the limitations of a panel antenna, this works well.
