I ordered 5/6 for my 4 1/2 year old. The shirt runs small after washing. I thought I would be ok but it definitely shrunk more than I expected. It still fit him, but it wasn't as big on him as I would have liked. Although the design is very cute, all the other kids and my son really liked it. Thick cotton shirt, definitely durable for boys.
