Review on πŸ‘Ÿ TuffRider Women's Starter Front Paddock Shoes for Ladies by Greg Greiner

The product seems ok at first glance, but.

Front pieces are slightly slanted, not straight across the top and uneven on either side, but not noticeable unless you look closely. The ankle area of the boots is a bit wide and I don't have skinny ankles at all. There are also large creases on the toes and unless treated with some sort of leather conditioner they will tear badly. The same goes for the ankle area, it flexes and folds a lot. The inside of the boot is very flat and the "inner sole" looks very tacky and unfinished like someone removed the inner sole and it would be the raw bottom layer. The seams and details on the front are NOT waterproof. Some of the water from the hose ran down my legs and went through (very uncomfortable) and I imagined my feet getting wet if I got in in the rain. Unfortunately after wearing them twice a week for a month I'm already seeing signs of stretching in the ankle rubber which is very annoying as that area is loose and I wear pants over boots which doesn't seem like most of my pants would keep them stretched or something. .Overall it seems very cheap and I don't think it will last very long. Thank goodness I have them on sale for Christmas so I think I got what I paid for. If I had paid full price I would have been really, really angry. If they're on sale and you need a pair of boots fast, grab them. If you can afford to buy something more expensive, you will likely save in the long run. I'll look for something else. PS Don't worry about how they light up in photos. I clean and apply either Dubbin or saddle soap after each use (I'm afraid it will start to crack if I don't). The boots feel loose and uncomfortable while riding, like the zipper has come undone. In addition, they have become less waterproof with regular treatments and still have to crack on me.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Not the best
