Mylar does not float well in a store-bought helium tank.
Mylar balloons were very thin. I think that's one of the reasons they didn't swim well in helium. We couldn't even use the Baby Mylar (my favorite) because it didn't contain helium and it ran out of juice right away. We decided not to waste helium by inflating Baby Girl Mylars for the shower. If the problem with mylar not floating is due to a helium tank bought at Walmart, we can take mylar-mylar girls to a party store and have them blow it up when the baby arrives and see if mylar holds up better with different helium .
