Almost perfect.almost.

I've been looking for the perfect vacuum and so far this is very good; it falls short in some important respects. However, this was the one I decided to keep. Pros: - Very powerful - if you set the suction to "high" it works perfectly - Good range of tools. Dedicated twist on the hose (why doesn't everyone do that?) - Relatively easy to navigate with the powerhead - Convenient LEDs on the powerhead - Large dust bin with quick-drain function, relatively easy to clean - Good packaging and documentation - Second battery - Excellent packaging - Three-phase power (Low , Medium (Default), High) - Hepa filter is located on the exhaust, not in the intake system - Convenient tool holder Cons: - Requires you to keep your finger on the trigger at all times - A bit heavy compared to the competition - Large dust box makes it a bit awkward on handheld devices - Since you have to keep your finger on the trigger, attaching the hose is particularly problematic (I solved that with a Velcro strap to hold the trigger when using the hose) - No mount for a second battery - White - I only have it used once and it already looks dirty (what were they thinking?) - "With medium speed ness start, press for high, then for "lowโ€ is a bit confusing. While all of the plastic appears to be "high quality," it is plentiful, particularly in places where it should be metal. Putting in a second battery not only increases the cleaning time (you can just replace the old battery and put it on the charger) but certainly extends the life of the device since you completely drain the battery every time (even L-ION can increase storage capacity) . It could be very handy if they just provide a holder to put the battery in. In any case, you need to create a place to store the extra battery and manually place it on the charger. I also don't understand why they don't provide a way to mount the device in the holder and charge it there if you want (the charging socket inexplicably faces "up" instead of down because the device is hanging). Putting the dust collector on top might not have been the best idea. On other devices, the dust collector hangs under the device. This allows for a much larger dust bin, but at the cost of a sense of maneuverability. The navigation also feels a little "smoother" than other devices I've used... somewhat less accurate. I think this is because the clips that hold the different parts of the device together are not of the best quality. They're not bad, but you get the plastic-on-plastic feel, not the metal-on-metal feel of the Dyson. It's also important to read the cleaning instructions - unlike some other units, the Hepa filter is actually on top of the exhaust. This means that most of the "heavy" filtration has already taken place before it gets to the filter (it's a small block of white folded filter paper). I've found this to clog in some other units and needs to be flushed with each empty bin - eufy doesn't require this and it's recommended that the filters be washed once a month (after which you need to let them dry for 24 hours). before use). Eufy offers this in two models: the basic package for $199 and this deluxe model for $249. The difference is that for an additional $50 you get a spare battery and a soft roller brush. I don't know what you're going to use the soft brush for as the standard kevlar brush already works well, but if you buy the extra battery separately it's an additional $80 so $249 is a good deal. Overall, the competitor is about $100 cheaper, but you sacrifice a lot of features (and remember, the extra battery alone is $80). . Here's what makes this a 5 star Dyson beater: - Make the on/off switch a button on top and make it a trigger switch between low/mid and high (in that order). - Provide a second battery holder and let it "snap and charge" at the same time - Change the position of the battery socket and provide the same "charging clip" for the handle - Make it black - Practice a little more force on the connections to give it that "feeling of quality". If you can live with these little things, it's definitely worth considering. If you feel you don't need the extra time, you can take the main route and forgo the extra battery.
