Very disappointed in Corsair

Corsair makes me sick of this keyboard. I expect a lot more from a company like Corsair and I've had many of their products. ATTENTION before buying. I took this brand new keyboard out of the box and plugged it in. I have to say it looks beautiful and sits perfectly under my fingers. I went through a lot of trouble to hook this up to my keyboard. The cable is very thin and has two USB connectors that need to be plugged in. My computer is 6 feet tall and wiring it is a daunting task, so I like to only do things once. I set everything up correctly and downloaded the new Corsair software. When setting up, the first thing I see is the "Update Software" button. I always like the latest and greatest drivers and software, so naturally I click them. Suddenly the key died. goes out, no light, no answer. I bricked my keyboard because of its software update. I go through the order, unplug and plug in again, restart my computer, all 30 feet. So now I have to undo everything I've done and plug my old keyboard back in to go online and see what I've done. What I wanted to avoid as I said my computer is high and not easily accessible. After some time of searching I found that this is a KNOWN issue with this keyboard and Corsair are refusing to confirm or fix it. Shame on you! Why are you forcing your customers to go through this? and how many RGAs do you have to go through from people not experienced enough to find this, download the correct bin file, replace it in the keyboard memory and reset the keyboard? What's more, the rebooting process is just insane as we're holding down the tiny pen button while trying to connect and disconnect TWO USB cables. even though most computers aren't 6 feet off the ground. This is a known issue, many people on the forums have had the same issues, your software is blocking YOUR own $200 keyboard. Solve the problem, Corsair, and stop telling people it's not your fault. I'm sick of liars, fraudulent companies are even worse. Anyone with google can verify this situation and you deny it and refuse to fix it. I expected that from a $30 Chinese knockoff, not you. Their software sucks and is overly complex. I often had light dips and programming the G-keys was too cumbersome. I am so disappointed that a wonderful and well made keyboard from a top notch company is ruined by software. Please collect your game. Until then, I would recommend people to think about these issues and maybe avoid this keyboard.
