If you need to fix the USB Type A end of a faulty USB cable like I did these parts will do the job perfectly. I had to solder them, but that's typical when working with thin AWG wires. This is not the product's fault, just the nature of the work and a fair warning. The shells fit great and as others have noted they don't stay snapped together very well. The solution is to use large shrink tubing that is crimped around the entire body, or just tape them together. I did the first. Easiest thing in the world when you have that much heat shrink.
