Review on πŸ’Ύ RGEEK Splitter HDD, SSD, and Optical Drives- The Ultimate Storage Solution by Michael Crossman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Flexible splitter lets me close the side panel

Background I built a PC using a Corsair CX650 and NZXT H440 power supply. I connected three 3.5" hard drives starting from the top (the case has 5 hard drive trays). Problems 1. After connecting all three hard drives, I noticed that the bulge from the loops of the SATA power cable was sticking out so much that there was no way to close the side panel 2. Then I tried to expand it so that it was in the places HD1, HD3, HD5 Unfortunately, at the same time the second SATA power connector was not enough, it was too short saw this cable and one review mentioned that the cable is very flexible.I connected it to my hard drives, looped and bent the cables where needed and it works.Hope it lasts.see looks like ribbon cable, like from a modular power supply, but it's a typical wire type.

Pros
  • The SATA 1 to 5 power splitter cable is designed to connect motherboards with 5 serial SATA hard drives, HDDs, SSDs and DVDs, and then securely to a computer via five rectangular SATA connectors associate. Quickly increase your computer's storage capacity
Cons
  • Slightly dented
