It's more than I wanted to pay but the solution works and it's metal so I know it will last forever so the price is right for a perfect solution. The instructions are clear and the protective film is in perfect condition. My regular sized cat fits in the smallest settings and my 11 lb chihuahua mix can't get through. My only suggestion would be to add a strip of felt or buffering material so that when the cat slips through the door it doesn't hit between the two sides of the metal (if your door is smaller than the estimated door gap). I will add this of mine.
