It's been about two weeks since I installed this modem/router combo. I used to have a Linksys CM3024 modem and a Linksys WRT3200ACM. The WRT3200ACM's 5GHz chip eventually failed and I decided to buy a modem/router combo to save space as the new apartment we moved into has the worst possible space for the coax. In short, I should have just bought a new WRT3200ACM. This new setup is garbage. Not two weeks old and I already have to reset it several times a day. This combination broadcasts the SSID but doesn't allow devices to connect unless you reset them. Stay away. I've never had this problem with a Linksys product and decided not to believe the horror stories I've heard about Netgear over the years and give it a try. It was a terrible mistake and please don't repeat it yourself.
