, I have Parkinson's disease and have often fallen. When I fall, my thigh touches the ground. It's only a matter of time before I hurt myself. These shorts give me the confidence to be active. I like to ride my bike, go to yoga classes and work in the garden. I prefer these shorts to other products for two reasons: 1. I live in a tropical climate and these shorts are cooler than any other I've tried. 2. They are thin and I can wear them under other clothes. Other products I've tried are thick and look like I'm wearing a diaper. I bought my 81 year old father a large size. They were too small for him. I had to exchange for XXL. He prefers the Burtons as it's easier for him to go to the bathroom. It doesn't need a glass, so it's easy to change it. fell twice on a hard surface. Once on the thigh and once on the tailbone. The job was done and I wasn't hurt. It would be nice if there was an option to buy without a can.
