I love my fan it's beautiful! My greatest fear is that something will happen to the remote control. It is very poorly made. In my opinion the plastic is of the cheapest plastic on the market, I think if you drop it wrong it will crack. If that happens NO MORE FAN. I tried to be proactive and contact the manufacturer to see if I could purchase an additional remote and got no response at all to my inquiry. This makes me very nervous. If the light is on or off when the remote breaks that's where you're going to be stuck at! I'm only giving it 3 stars until I get a reply.
