Exactly what I needed. We have a PS4 connected to a TV, but we also use a PS4 projector for movies. I'm tired of constantly plugging and unplugging HDMI cables between TV and projector. This fixed that problem. You can display PS4 content on TV and projector at the same time. But we use each one individually and it still works perfectly. You don't have to tinker with anything. Just activate what you want to use. It is designed for 1 input and 2 outputs. This means I could connect 2 TVs to a PS4 and mirror the same screen. I noticed from the reviews that some people don't fully understand what they are buying. Again 1 input and 2 outputs.
