Fits but scrap is a disaster

I bought these because I'm allergic to nickel and am trying to replace all the metal earrings I have. They will work fine, but I was surprised by the amount of debris found in the sealed bag on arrival (see photo against white background). They also have embossed parts (middles) that look like tiny pieces of silicon (see photo against dark background). I had to empty it, clean it thoroughly and then put it back in the case it came in.
