While technically it works there is a significant audio delay (100-250ms+) that is driving me crazy. Also, there should be enough backup to get this thing going for shipping. I have the highest gain on my receiver and it still only plays strong bass in movies with a significant delay. Some of the other low-bass scenes are either cut off slightly or completely, ruining the movie experience. This thing works well for music at very high volumes (which is impractical for home use), but still has plenty of latency. I wouldn't recommend it if you had no other choice, especially at this price point.
