I'll admit I upgraded a 10x50 that I bought over 25 years ago so it was a real leap forward. Setup was very easy out of the box. I was very impressed with the clarity of the image, very clear at all distances. The range finder was easy to learn and accurate (I tested it at various ranges). I've only had them a few days so haven't had a chance to see them in real field conditions yet, but they're durable and should hold up well. The only negative I can report is that the eyecup caps are not attached and are not tight. They're pretty easy to remove. You just have to be careful not to lose them. Overall I am very happy with the purchase.
