Review on 🌟 LEDGLE Upgraded Selfie Ring Light: Tripod Stand, Phone Holder, Selfie Stick - 8" Dimmable Ring Light for Live Stream Makeup and YouTube Videos by James Lapa

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great little flashlight, bought to use as a portable cell phone/DSLR light = works perfectly!

If you watch my video review you will see that I didn't buy it to use as a "selfie ring" but as a cheap, very portable and efficient LED light for cell phone video or quick shots on DSLR. I've used this for most of my Revain reviews over the past few months. I also used it for additional lighting on some product shots. I use a regular (10,000mAh) cell phone charger to power my Ledgle LED ring light. It works all day, I haven't drained my battery with this light yet. Seeing how useful it is, I almost want to use it for camping as well, as I've been able to run the LED for over 9 hours straight with no problems and still have 80-90% of the charging block left. LED ring LEDGLE The light comes with a tripod and a telescopic rod. You can use the ring light with or without a tripod and/or telescopic pole. A few times I've simply mounted a ring LED on top of my DSLR. As you can see from the photos (or video report) I use light in a variety of lighting scenarios. The LED can be adjusted in brightness (dimmable) or style: Warm, Normal or Cool. Since it is sold as a "selfie" ring lamp, it also comes with a cell phone tripod and universal cell phone. To install. Both my iPhone Xr and my Samsung S7 fit in perfectly. I used a mini tripod to take time lapse photos with my cellphones while I was taking other shots. I dropped mine on concrete and the white plastic cone rolled out fairly easily. Surprisingly, it didn't break and I was able to put it back in easily, but I was concerned about durability. I almost wanted to give it a star but it was my fault for dropping it. While the diffuser was removed, I checked out the innards. The LEDs are decent, but the soldering and flimsy power cord make me worry about the product's durability with frequent travel and use. I ended up adding a dab of hot glue and adding a healthy coat of epoxy to the retaining nut to ensure it lasted a few rides.

It works but don't like that I can't place the cell phone in the ring light.
