This waffle iron was my first purchase of its kind, and after reading a number of customer evaluations, I decided to go with this particular model. In overall, considering that I had never used this waffle iron to cook waffles before, the results were satisfactory. After a few usage of the appliance, the burning smell on the top stopped occurring for whatever cause it had occurred initially. As there are varying levels of heating available to pick from, in my opinion it is also necessary for you to make adjustments to the temperature.
