Too bright on crochet hooks

I couldn't knit with these crochet hooks in low light as the LEDs were VERY bright. If you crochet yourself at a moderate pace, the fast-moving light catches the eye and is very distracting. Light illuminates your work well when moving very slowly, but I can't work at that speed and am hoping to complete some projects.
