This is a well designed auto fill. It's pretty easy to install. The pump is small enough to give you multiple installation options in small water tanks. This device does an excellent job of alerting you when you have a lot of water in the tank, as well as a lot of pressure to pump the water up to fill the tank to the desired level. I currently use it in my 10 gallon salt water tank to keep the water level. He does his job very well. The only problem I see with this device is that it is an external sensor. He needs clear glass so he can read the water level. As such, I cannot use it on tinted or tinted windows. I can't really beat this product because I knew it before I bought it. Also a hose clamp that presses the hose to the tank. It works. but it could be improved to be smaller and relieve the hose so the hose doesn't kink. Other than that, this device is a great thing. I will try to buy another one to install on my 35 gallon reef.
